Challenge: Add Images to Your Website

Hiya!

All img tags need an alt attribute. This is a place to put descriptive text in case the image doesn’t display, or for screen readers to read. If you have an image that doesn’t require alt text (such as decorative image), you can leave it empty with quotes (alt="").

<img src="http://......." alt="cat relaxing in the sun">

Also, don’t forget to include a closing angle bracket on your first img tag there.

Hope that helps!

Thanks Mrs. Mackness but i have been literally trying it the whole night, it keeps pulling me down on that “alt” part…

it is checking the first img element it finds

I suggest you make sure to have one single img element, maybe keep the one that seems more correct, and try again

also, your first img is missing the closing >

So far it looks like this Mrs. Ieahleen

Is there anyone whom can offer his/her patience for me?

You have three img elements. You only need one. The first one has the correct src attribute but no alt attribute and that’s the only one the tests are seeing.
You can either reset the lesson by clicking the ‘reset all code’ button or just deleted the other two img elements and add some alt text to the first one.
