Challenge: Check Radio Buttons and Checkboxes by Default

Link to the challenge:

the instruction says:

Your first radio button on your form should be checked by default.

so add the checked attribute to your first radio input,
the instruction also says:

Your first checkbox on your form should be checked by default.

so add the checked attribute to your first chackbox input,

I did, then I receive the following message running tests You should not change the inner text of the

Indoor

label. You should not change the inner text of the

Loving

label. // tests completed

Try changing our code from:

<label for="indoor"><input id="indoor" type="radio" name="indoor-outdoor" value="indoor"> Indoor</label>checked

to:

<label for="indoor"><input id="indoor" type="radio" name="indoor-outdoor" value="indoor" checked> Indoor</label>

The word “checked” should be nested inside the label element.

And also, that will only pass one test, so make sure you add it to the first checkbox as well which in this case it would look like:

<label for="loving"><input id="loving" type="checkbox" name="personality" value="loving" checked> Loving</label>
