Adjusting the Padding of an Element pls help

Tell us what’s happening:

i am writing the right code but it’s not working

Your code so far

<style>
  .injected-text {
    margin-bottom: -25px;
    text-align: center;
  }

  .box {
    border-style: solid;
    border-color: black;
    border-width: 5px;
    text-align: center;
  }

  .yellow-box {
    background-color: yellow;
    padding: 10px;
  }

  .red-box {
    background-color: red;
    padding: 20px;

  }

  .green-box {
    background-color: green;
    padding: 20px;
  }

</style>
<h5 class="injected-text">margin</h5>

<div class="box yellow-box">
  <h5 class="box red-box">padding</h5>
  <h5 class="box green-box">padding</h5>
</div>

what’s not working here? By seeing your code I assume that you want to see “margin” word outside of yellow box. Thats not happening because you have put a negative margin of -25px to injected-text class.

If you do this instead your problem will be resolved i guess:

.injected-text {
    margin-bottom: 25px;
    text-align: center;
  }
