Anchor tag problem

**Tell us what’s happening: Change your external link to an internal link by changing the href attribute to “#footer” and the text from “cat photos” to “Jump to Bottom”.

Remove the target="_blank" attribute from the anchor tag since this causes the linked document to open in a new window tab.

Then add an id attribute with a value of “footer” to the <footer> element at the bottom of the page.**

Look at the error messages you are getting, they will tell you exactly where the issues are. I’ll get you started, the first error is:

`The a tag should have an href attribute set to “#footer”.’

Look closely at your <a> tag. Do you see an href attribute in it?

Here you should change a value of href attribute, not href itself. Follow this pattern:

<a href="#home">Go to home page</a>

Then you have to add an id to the footer, like so:

<footer id="add-id-here">Footer</footer>

Thank you :grinning:
