Está quase tudo perfeito, @lizaraxamg. Basta remover as aspas que estão ao redor da palavra character. Como @ILM explicou, se você coloca aspas ao redor de uma palavra, entende-se que é a palavra ou frase que você quer dizer. Mas você não quer dizer “character”, você quer que ele imprima o conteúdo dentro da variável character, então remova as aspas na linha secondCharacter = "character"; que vai dar tudo certo.
