I have completed the File Metadata Microservice project, but Test 4 (“When you submit a file, you receive the file name, type, and size in bytes within the JSON response”) is failing.
I have manually tested the file upload endpoint using my browser and curl, and it correctly returns the required JSON structure (e.g., {"name":"test.jpeg","type":"image/jpeg","size":328204}).
I understand this is a known issue with the automated test runner’s response.blob() method in
The link to your repo isn’t working - I get “page not found” - maybe the repo is private? Also, links to localhost won’t work for anyone, you would need to host your site somewhere public for people to see it.
If one or both of those were working, someone might be able to help.
Thanks, I hope you are having a fantastic day as well!
I just wanted to follow up and see if it was possible to get manual credit for the File Metadata Microservice project? As mentioned, my code returns the exact correct JSON, but I am unfortunately getting completely blocked by the blob is not implemented yet sandbox crash in the test runner.
Let me know if there’s anything else I need to provide. Thanks so much for your time and help!
No, I don’t think you can get credit for the project just by saying you completed it.
Again, if you provide a working link to your source code - and preferably a working link to the site, someone could probably help. But the links you provided aren’t working for me anyway.

Can you point to something where this is described? Perhaps someone could fix that issue and you wouldn’t need to adjust your code or anything.
