hi i don’t know if the wrong solution has been checked i am removing elem from the arr but the solution shows something different please can you help thanks
Your code so far

function filteredArray(arr, elem) {
  let newArr = [];
  // Only change code below this line
  for (let i = 0; i < arr.length; i++) {
    if (arr[i] == elem) {
      console.log("arr[i] is ${arr[i]}");
      console.log("elem is ${elem}");
      console.log("i is ${i}");
      arr.splice(i, 1);
    }
  }
  // Only change code above this line
  return newArr;
}

console.log(filteredArray([[3, 2, 3], [1, 6, 3], [3, 13, 26], [19, 3, 9]], 3));

Challenge: Basic Data Structures - Iterate Through All an Array’s Items Using For Loops

Link to the challenge:

Two big issues here

  1. you shouldn’t mutate an array as you iterate over it

  2. you are not checking subarrays

i understand it now didnt think i read the question properly
