Basic Data Structures - Iterate Through the Keys of an Object with a for...in Statement

Tell us what’s happening:

My for … in statement is not looping through and my code is not running as it should be. By using the console, I realized that it is only working for the first element of the object and stops there.

Your code so far

const users = {
  Alan: {
    online: false
  },
  Jeff: {
    online: true
  },
  Sarah: {
    online: false
  }
}

function countOnline(allUsers) {
  // Only change code below this line
  for(const user in allUsers){
    let count = 0;
    if(allUsers[user].online === false){
      console.log(user, allUsers[user]);
      count = count + 1;
      // count++;
    }
    return count;
  }
  // Only change code above this line
}

console.log(countOnline(users));
