Also, to help, you can see what is happening better if you test it with something like this:

console.log(cc(2))

so you can see in the console window what you are returning.

Thank you so much I was able to solve this challenge after many months of trial and error.

Next time, don’t wait so long. All the time at work, if I’m struggling on a problem so I reach out and talk it out with another developer. Granted, when you’re learning, struggling is part of the process, but also don’t be afraid to reach out to the forum for a hint if you are stuck for too long.
