Basic JavaScript: Record Collection challenge

Hello everyone ) I have stuck with this challenge :

// Setup
var collection = {
    "2548": {
      "album": "Slippery When Wet",
      "artist": "Bon Jovi",
      "tracks": [
        "Let It Rock",
        "You Give Love a Bad Name"
      ]
    },
    "2468": {
      "album": "1999",
      "artist": "Prince",
      "tracks": [
        "1999",
        "Little Red Corvette"
      ]
    },
    "1245": {
      "artist": "Robert Palmer",
      "tracks": [ ]
    },
    "5439": {
      "album": "ABBA Gold"
    }
};
// Keep a copy of the collection for tests
var collectionCopy = JSON.parse(JSON.stringify(collection));

// Only change code below this line
function updateRecords(id, prop, value) {
  if (collection.id[prop] != true){
    collection.push["id"]["prop"][value];
  }

  return collection;
}

// Alter values below to test your code
updateRecords(5439, "artist", "ABBA");

Cannot read property 'artist' of undefined

we don’t know what you know and don’t know so please provide description of your struggles.
What’s going on?

I can’t pass challenge https://learn.freecodecamp.org/javascript-algorithms-and-data-structures/basic-javascript/record-collection/ because I have error in my function :Cannot read property ‘artist’ of undefined

I imagine your issue is here. collection doesn’t have an id property
Remember that id is a variable

Then there is everything wrong here…
Push is a method so it needs (), you can use it only on arrays (is that an array?)
