*Bug* jQuery: Target the Parent of an Element Using jQuery

Tell us what’s happening:
I think I’ve found a bug in the lesson. Generally I pres ctrl+Enter when I finish my code to run the tests. I’ve been doing that since the HTML lessons. However! This particular lesson failed me when I used the shortcut and passed me when I hit the “Run Tests” button.

Your code so far

<script>
$(document).ready(function() {
  $("#target1").css("color", "red");
  $("#target1").prop("disabled", true);
  $("#target4").remove();
  $("#target2").appendTo("#right-well");
  $("#target5").clone().appendTo("#left-well");
  $("#target1").parent().css("background-color", "red");
});
</script>

<!-- Only change code above this line. -->

<body>
<div class="container-fluid">
  <h3 class="text-primary text-center">jQuery Playground</h3>
  <div class="row">
    <div class="col-xs-6">
      <h4>#left-well</h4>
      <div class="well" id="left-well">
        <button class="btn btn-default target" id="target1">#target1</button>
        <button class="btn btn-default target" id="target2">#target2</button>
        <button class="btn btn-default target" id="target3">#target3</button>
      </div>
    </div>
    <div class="col-xs-6">
      <h4>#right-well</h4>
      <div class="well" id="right-well">
        <button class="btn btn-default target" id="target4">#target4</button>
        <button class="btn btn-default target" id="target5">#target5</button>
        <button class="btn btn-default target" id="target6">#target6</button>
      </div>
    </div>
  </div>
</div>
</body>

Thank you for helping make FCC better. Bugs can be reported as GitHub Issues. Whenever reporting a bug, please check first that there isn’t already an issue for it and provide as much detail as possible.

I can make the test fail using both methods of submitting. Something else is going on, I’m just not sure what.
