Build a Cat Photo App - Step 40

Tell us what’s happening:

Notice that the entire contents of the page are nested within an html element. The html element is the root element of an HTML page and wraps all content on the page.

You can also specify the language of your page by adding the lang attribute to the html element.

Add the lang attribute with the value en to the opening html tag to specify that the language of the page is English.

i’m not able to create the right syntax

Build a Cat Photo App - Step 40

you have added many attributes so far

for example

here you have added a target attribute with a value of _blank

here you have added a src attribute with a value of https://cdn.freecodecamp.org/curriculum/cat-photo-app/cats.jpg

Now you need to add a lang attribute with a value of en

Please reset the step and try again

Hi Rupa. en is not an element. Elements are displayed with <>. en is an attribute value. You have the correct attribute (lang), but the wrong attribute value (English). Finally, your language attribute should be within your html opening tag along with it’s value. I hope this helps you.

`hope this helps you are nearly there all you need is a html somthing = “en” but in the html tag and not outside it.

like <html it goes inside the html like an id or a class `
