In the “Build a Database of Video Game Characters” project (Relational Databases Certification), the test runner fails without clear error details. The previous project (“Build a Boilerplate”) worked fine, but this one consistently crashes after 3 minutes. I’ve tried resetting the course and restarting, but nothing helps. The lack of error logs makes debugging impossible. This blocks my progress, as I can’t identify what’s wrong with my schema, seed data, or queries. I need either a fix or clear
Locally. already follow your instructions, the problem is like this. they like need empty workspace, that’s why in previous my folder is /project/project-db. and yah that’s works opened course but can’t submit / auto submit even i has correct answer based on previous. already used exit and reset course in my previous but not effecting at all.
I suggest restarting the steps but this time, use a new path to create the rdb-alpha dir (the cloned repo should go to a new path) as if you use the same path as before, you will get the same issue.
I already use in :C\ directories, but it’s still have issues like that. the progress does not count, even correct.. i don’t know why, and how to solve after break 8 days and try again from stracth it is not change at all…
Finnaly, i find solution. I follow your Periodic Table Database - Build a Periodic Table Database - #5 by hbar1st post about how init the new workspace. I think the problem is from docker image and container when our create again the last of image and container is not clear due to duplicte data or any like that. that’s make in the dev container cli is not make any progress, even correct.
Thx a lot, i think you should pin the your old solution because can help new member or beginner like me to start journey at this platform.
Based on my previous, corrected response, I believe your approach has some issues with false positives. I realized at point 4 or 5 that my response was completely unrelated to CodeRoad. When I press Ctrl+Enter, the course immediately ends and moves on to the next section. This could potentially be a bug if not fixed soon. It could be that others could pretend to “skip” the course without actually solving the problem. Please provide feedback.
