Tell us what’s happening:

I used MusicalInstrument.play(instrument_1), output matches, not sure what I’m doing wrong

Your code so far

class MusicalInstrument:
    def __init__(self, name, instrument_type):
        self.name = name
        self.instrument_type = instrument_type

    def play(self):
        print(f'The {self.name} is fun to play!')

    def get_fact(self):
        return f'The {self.name} is part of the {self.instrument_type} family of instruments.'

Build a Musical Instrument Inventory - Step 11

call play on instrument_1, do not use MusicalInstrument here

Hi @pwdl4444

You are asked to call the .play() method on the instance.

Happy coding

Edit: I figured it out, I didn’t realize the error and I understand now. Thank you so much!
