Remove both overflow and overflow-y
If i do that i won’t be able to apply it to my page. i need my left column to stay hidden and my main body to scroll. and that is what i coded. but only one section in the body received the code.

I added height to body and overflow to main (not .main-section).
this what I’ve been saying scrolling isn’t working for me. I’ve read about it and this is suppose
to work.
this just awful I need help I can’t move on anybody.
