Tell us what’s happening:

The “Check Code” button is telling me that my code raised an issue but it didn’t, it correctly output “True” in the terminal:

I can’t move on from this step and I don’t know what it thinks I did wrong. I’m very new to this so please don’t judge me too harshly lol.

Your code so far

distance_mi = 10
is_raining = False
has_bike = False
has_car = True
has_ride_share_app = True

if not distance_mi:
    print(False)

if distance_mi <= 1 and is_raining:
    print(False)
elif distance_mi >= 1 and not is_raining:
    print(True)
elif distance_mi <=6 and distance != 1 and not is_raining and not has_bike:
    print(False)
elif distance_mi > 6 and distance_mi != 1 and has_bike and not is_raining:
    print(True)
elif distance > 6 and has_car:
    print(True)
elif distance_mi > 6 and not has_car and not has_ride_share_app:
    print(False)

if you check on the left you can see that number 15 is the one about a falsy value, and if you set distance_mi=0 you will see an error about a distance variable

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "main.py", line 14, in <module>
NameError: name 'distance' is not defined

Hi, I don’t think I’m understanding. I have the conditional “if not distance_mi: print(False)” Isn’t doing that or “if distance_mi = 0” or “if distance_mi = None” all ways of saying to print False if the distance value is falsy?

Or do I actually have to put distance_mi as 0 to trigger the “False” to complete that step?

you need to fix the syntax error first, which is the errors blocking the tests, I was telling you how to make it come out
