Build a Travel Weather Planner - Build a Travel Weather Planner

Tell us what’s happening:

I cannot get past step 15 “When distance_mi is a falsy value, the program should print False.” I have tried multiple methods from other forums.

Your code so far

distance_mi = 3
is_raining = True
has_bike = True
has_car = True
has_ride_share_app = False

if distance_mi <= 1 and is_raining == False:
    print(True)

elif distance_mi > 1 and distance_mi <=6 and is_raining == False:
    print(True)

elif distance_mi > 6 and has_car == True or has_ride_share_app == True:
    print(True)
else:
    print(False)

Welcome to the forum @mattchatjones,

Here’s a good reference that explains falsy values and how to handle them in your code:

Happy coding

you also need to consider this

when yu have or and and, and is executed first so this line is like

elif (distance_mi > 6 and has_car == True) or (has_ride_share_app == True):
