Hey @talk2olamy,

Try printing a few different cases: a valid price, an invalid discount, and a discount of 0, and see if each output matches what the user stories expect.

For example:

print(apply_discount(100, "abc")) // invalid discount
print(apply_discount(50, 0)) // discount of 0

Please review this theory lecture again, which talks about using type(), and at the bottom, isinstance(). What is doesn’t show is that isinstance() can take a tuple as the second argument so you can check two or more types at once.
