Challenge: Assigning the Value of One Variable to Another

Link to the challenge:

You didn’t tell us what’s going on. Please edit your post so we know how to help you.

a should be assigned to b

You are doing the opposite.

can not do it , i have tried almost everything that i could… frowning:

In your code, you made a tiny mistake.
You are supposed to assign the value of a to b.
So, it’s b=a and not a=b;

var a;
var b;

a = 7;
b = a;

It is great that you solved the challenge, but instead of posting your full working solution, it is best to stay focused on answering the original poster’s question(s) and help guide them with hints and suggestions to solve their own issues with the challenge.

We are trying to cut back on the number of spoiler solutions found on the forum and instead focus on helping other campers with their questions and definitely not posting full working solutions.
