Counting Cards JS Challenge

Tell us what’s happening:

Hi, can someone tell me why this isn’t working? it looks good to me but maybe i’m overlooking something.

Your code so far

function cc(card) {
  var count = 0;
  switch(card){
    case 2:
    case 3:
    case 4:
    case 5:
    case 6:
      count++;
      break;
    case 10:
    case "J":
    case "Q":
    case "K":
    case "A":
      count--;
      break;
  }
  if (count > 0) {
    return count + " Bet";
  }
  else {
    return count + " Hold";
  }

  // Only change code above this line
}

// Add/remove calls to test your function.
// Note: Only the last will display
cc(2); cc(3); cc(7); cc('K'); cc('A');

You should not be resetting count to 0 every time that the function executes. In this case the solution is expected to use a global variable.
