Drum Machine (sequencer) WIP

Built in Vanilla.js, howler.js and flexbox. Still a WIP but I’m interested to know how people recieve what I’ve done with it so far.

It’s cool. But you can work on frontend if you want.

Very cool! Thanks for sharing.

Yeah, thats pretty cool! If you’re looking for improvements, and if you’d like to make it more like a traditional drum machine I suggest renaming ticks to steps. Here it seems like 16 steps = 1 bar so you should have 16, 32, 64, or 128 as the step options. Also you can add a feature to fill every step (common shaker pattern), every 2nd step (common hi hat pattern), or every 4th step (common kick pattern).

That’s a good idea. Thanks for the suggestion.

as for calling it steps instead of ticks I’m more familiar with the nomenclature of world of mod trackers https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gHQYYh7J1O4

I found this other guy who made the same thing. Probably more close to hardware from the past. He implemented the common patterns which my program allows you to do too just haven’t implemented anything in the UI.
