this is my pen project.
i am using fa classes, but its not working. I added bootstrap link in settings, codepen. still its not working.
can someone help please?

You need to add font-awesome library:
https://maxcdn.bootstrapcdn.com/font-awesome/4.7.0/css/font-awesome.min.css
copy the above link to your css just like you added bootstrap.
