Freecodecamp.org - ReferenceError: React is not defined

Hi,
my name is Sebastian and I’ll try to learn React with freecodecamp.org.
Since I did a break for almost 2 months I wanted to get further with my learnings.

But since that, I can do what I want I get the following error message. “ReferenceError: React is not defined”

First I thougth this is a local issue, but my codings are in the browser editor. So may somebody can assist me?

Thank you.
BR
Sebastian

Welcome, wulvpak.

Could you paste your code, as well as a link to the specific challenge you are referring to?

When you enter a code block into a forum post, please precede it with a separate line of three backticks and follow it with a separate line of three backticks to make it easier to read.

Please use the “preformatted text” tool in the editor (</>) to add backticks around text.

See this post to find the backtick on your keyboard.
Note: Backticks are not single quotes.

Hi Sky020,
the code isn’t the problem. Because, when I paste the solution from the “Get help” page, it neither work.

So I tried to change the browser and with Chrome I have no issues at all. So I guess the problem is a local one.

Now I go on with Google’s Chrome.

Thanks

Sebastian

No, there is nothing more you need to do. You can mark a reply as the solution.

I am glad you got things sorted. Google Chrome is the recommended browser for freeCodeCamp.

Thank you for your advice!
