Grid-template-areas seems broken?

I did what the lab said, and got a perfect test, but it didn’t seem to do anything.
I also noticed the lab isn’t displaying any syntax on the code, either.
Is this a deprecated CSS property at this point?
Is there simply an error in how the lab works?

You have to read the error message carefully.

container class should have a grid-template-areas property similar to the preview but with . instead of the advert area.
