Challenge: Step 81

Link to the challenge:

hello, Peper47
What is the problem with the question

i don’t know how to change the color of the footer

okay, Peper47
You are to change the color of the link only when a user clicks on the link,
so how do we achieve that? we have a css pseudo-selector called :visited
that changes the color of the link after it has been clicked by a user. in this case you have been asked to change it to gray and we can acheive through
targeting the <a> as so

a:visited {
propertyName: propertyvalue;
In this case what do we want to change, color which becomes the property name and what is the value? …grey an sure you understand now

1 Like

so, i need to write it like this?
a:visited { propertyName:color; propertyValue:grey;}

No please replace propertyName with color and also propertyValue with grey

I dont want to give u the answer direct but i want you to understand how the whole thing works

ohhh okay now i understand thank you

@larrykn thank you for that, if they put it in the description we’d all be ok hahaha…im slower than the average bear aswell :sweat_smile:

a:visited {
color: grey;
