Tell us what’s happening:

What does it mean by on the left well

Your code so far

<div class="container-fluid">
  <h3 class="text-primary text-center">jQuery Playground</h3>
  <div class="row">
    <div class="col-xs-6">
      <div class="well">
        <button class="btn btn-default target"></button>
        <button class="btn btn-default target"></button>
        <button class="btn btn-default target"></button>
      </div>
    </div>
    <div class="col-xs-6">
      <div class="well">
        <button class="btn btn-default target"></button>
        <button class="btn btn-default target"></button>
        <button class="btn btn-default target"></button>
      </div>
    </div>
  </div>
</div>

Your browser information:

Your Browser User Agent is: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS x86_64 9901.77.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/62.0.3202.97 Safari/537.36.

The above code has one row and two columns. Inside each column is a div with class=“well”. The instructions are referring to the first column’s well div which is on the left side.

I’ve edited your post for readability. When you enter a code block into the forum, remember to precede it with a line of three backticks and follow it with a line of three backticks to make easier to read. See this post to find the backtick on your keyboard. The “preformatted text” tool in the editor (</>) will also add backticks around text.

The instructions state:

give a unique id to each of our div element of class well.

Instead, you put an id called “left-well” on each of the buttons (children of the first div with class “well”). You do not want the id on the children elements. You want it on the div with class=“well”.

#8

ok that makes more sense thanks

Use three back-ticks. You used 3 single quotes. See the post above to find out where back-ticks are located on your keyboard.
