Help with Bootstrap/CSS Grid Troubleshooting

I can’t quite figure out how to get my buttons lined up under my images for the websites i’ve created.
I’ve read the error, searched google and now it’s time to ask :grinning:

You need to have the Bootstrap library loaded in order to use the grid classes. You can add it in codepen by clicking:

  • Settings button
  • CSS tab
  • quick add drop down at the bottom of the tab
  • Bootstap 3 (or 4)

Thank you very much! I’ve added it into the library now, could I get some help with understanding the grid element?

Here’s the documentation for Bootstrap 4 where you can learn all about how to use the grid system. Hope it helps!

On which part are you having trouble with the grid elements?

The background gradient isn’t covering the whole length of the page and i’m not exactly sure if it’s a div problem or a bootstrap one.

Get your whole html code within <body></body> element. In css instead adding background to .body class add it to body element i.e

body { background-image: -webkit-linear-gradient(top,#f47a41 , #585654); }

It have nothing to do with botstrap or divs just some html basics.

Thank you very much! It also appears that the image for my portfolio page doesn’t show up on the webpage even though my tribute page image does.
