A problem with your structure, it will be like, and have a semi-colon after every property, ex: you missed a semi-colon after monospace

<p>Things cats love:{font-family:monospace</p> // Not right

You can Reset your code and all you have to do is, just add styles in a way from the suggestion below

}

Add the style between those, css works like that, do not use tags
