How do I set the media screens to 800px?

I cannot seem to figure out what it is that they are asking. I cannot set the media query screens to 800px.

  **Your code so far**

max-width:800px;

}

HI @mslathan20 !

It looks like you have a few syntax errors here
Here is the basic syntax for media queries

@media (media-feature){
/*Styles go here*/
}

For the media-feature, that is where you will set the max width.
For the styles inside the media query, that is where you will set your width of 50%

Hope that helps!

Thank you so much, but when i put the width inside the media query it still says an error.

@media (max-width:800px){
width:50%;

}

this is what I’ve done so far…

Where is this width of 50% being applied to?
that is the issue you need to fix.

The directions say to create a #gallery img rule and set the width property to 50%

Make sense?

Also, if you need extra help, I had put together this example of media queries a while back for an article.

Hope that helps!

ok thank you so much! i figured it out…
