How should I understand the word "add"?

Again, the instructions are not clear. I am requested to add a class named flavor to the the French Vanilla p element. Adding it where exactly is not specified. I tried several positions but all failed. How should I understand the word “add” ?

The problem you are having is you are adding classes incorrectly. The way you have added the class here is the way you would use it as a CSS selector. When they say to add something in this manner they mean to add it to the element itself and not the text displayed on screen.

A correctly applied class is shown below:
