How to properly write a @media query

This ones new to me, looked it up and found the code nearly identical to what i have here. what am i doing wrong?
when i try to submit i am given this: Your new @media query should have a max-width of 800px like this: @media (max-width: 800px)

The important word here is “nearly” :slight_smile: You are missing some curly braces. The media query selector itself is a ruleset that is defined with curly braces. And then each individual ruleset in the media query also has curly braces as normal.
