First of all, you spelled input incorrectly. Secondly, the instructions say:

Nest the existing input element inside a form element…

So you aren’t supposed to create a new one, but to use the old one, which is on the line above.

When I take that existing input and put it inside the form (replacing the imput) the code passes for me.
