Challenge: Change the Font Size of an Element

Link to the challenge:

Give the p element a font-size of 16px.

Hi @RAAJ !

Welcome to the forum!

I would use the FCC example as reference on how to change the font-size.

h1 {
  font-size: 30px;
}

Add the font-size property to this element here. As mentioned earlier it should be 16px.

  p {

   /*Add your font-size here*/
  }

thank you very much. i had earlier been adding a period.

Ahh I see. Yeah , it is confusing at first to keep track of the syntax.

Periods are for classes while hashes are for ids. For html elements, like p tags you can just use the name without anything in front of it.

html tags

 p {
   font-size:10px;
  }

Classes

 .demo-text {
   font-size:10px;
  }

Ids

#demo {
    font-size:10px;
}
