What, do contributors sometimes deliberately mess up people’s repos? I thought the code had to be reviewed before it is merged with main?
I do not know python at all. I was introduced to it when I was learning Tableau Public but I feel that I need to focus on JS and related topics like webpack, node.js, etc. It’s almost like newbies like myself should start a repo on any topic and contribute to it so that it makes our resume look better.
Well. Some people think they know better and do stuff that is not in line with requirements. Few and far between, but anyway. Of course, as owner of the repository, I would have to check submissions .
I guess I just want someone who would be on the same page as me . . .
Sticking to JS is a good idea. Get good at one thing at a time. Sorry I didn’t pay attention to the language you are busy studying, just had a crazy idea about sharing code and all that. You know, giving newbies a chance to get stuck in while learning. It’s the best way to consolidate what you learn.
Practice makes perfect.
Hope it goes well with your studies and projects.
