Challenge: Understanding Undefined Value returned from a Function

Link to the challenge:

Hello there.

Do you have a question?

If so, please edit your post to include it in the Tell us what’s happening section.

Learning to describe problems is hard, but it is an important part of learning how to code.

Also, the more information you give us, the more likely we are to be able to help.

You are only supposed to invoke (run) the addFive function one time.

It seems to me that there is a mistake in your code. Your line in function addFive():
sum = sum += 5;
…should be:
sum = sum + 5;

To summarize:

function addFive() {
sum = sum + 5;
}

Hope this helps.

Oh, and yes, your line:
var result = addFive();
…can be removed from your code.
The function addFive() is already called at the end of the code.
