AI tools like ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Claude, and Gemini can speed up coding, but I’m curious how everyone balances using them without relying on them too much.
Do you use AI mostly for debugging, explaining concepts, writing boilerplate code, or something else? Have you found it actually improves your learning, or does it sometimes become a shortcut?
I’d love to hear how other developers are using AI in their daily workflow.
my experience is that only time’s you should use ai is when you are completely aware of context and are using only for automation or fasting your way to do the project. using ai in a part that you completely are unaware will not give you growth or progress

yes i am totally agree with what you are saying, it’s true!
AI has helped me quite a bit when it comes to learning. The fCC courses are awesome, but I find I need a little more explaining and details on subjects. I have Copilot create coding scenarios and I try to figure them out, similar to the daily challenges. If something isn’t sticking, I have AI explain it to me in detail until I get it. You really have to want to learn in order to see results. It’s a lot of repetition and constant studying. I’ll be taking the final exam for JS in the next week and I’m making myself read the review several times before I take it. Maybe it’s just me but thats how I learn.
