Missing until dinner time toy mouse squeak roll over. With tail in the air lounge in doorway. Man running from cops stops to pet cats, goes to jail.</p>
<p>Intently stare at the same spot poop in the plant pot but kitten is playing with dead mouse. Get video posted to internet for chasing red dot leave fur on owners clothes meow to be let out and mesmerizing birds leave fur on owners clothes or favor packaging over toy so purr for no reason. Challenge: Link to Internal Sections of a Page with Anchor Elements

Link to the challenge:

The first step in the instructions say:

Change your external link to an internal link by changing the `href` attribute to "#footer" and the text from "cat photos" to "Jump to Bottom".

There is only one link in this HTML so that is the one you will change. Currently the href attribute is set to the URL for the freecatphotapp. The instructions are asking you to change it to something else (an internal link to be specific). That something else is given to you in the instructions. I think you can make this change. And then don’t forget to change the link text (the text between the <a> and </a>) as well.

<a #footer=“http://freecatphotoapp.com”> Jump to bottom

like this?

Not quite. When the instruction say “change the ‘href’ attribute to…” they don’t mean to literally change ‘href’ to something else, they mean to change the value that the ‘href’ value is set to. So if you have

href="hello"

and someone says to change the href attribute to “goodbye” then they mean 'set the value that the href attribute currently equals to “goodbye”, in other words:

href="goodbye"

When we talk about setting attributes on an html element, it will follow this pattern

<elementName attributeName="value"></elementName>

If I said “Set the value of the elephant attribute on the p tag to pink” you would do

<p elephant="pink">Pink elephants on parade!</p>

You can click on a little “check mark” found under the comment that you think is the solution to the problem you did have, so the topic is considered solved.
