I'm stuck in here https://www.freecodecamp.org/learn/responsive-web-design/applied-visual-design/create-texture-by-adding-a-subtle-pattern-as-a-background-image

Tell us what’s happening:

Your code so far

<style>
body {

}
</style>
<property> url

Challenge: Create Texture by Adding a Subtle Pattern as a Background Image

Link to the challenge:

Hi there.

The description on the exercise site says:

The background property supports the url() function in order to link to an image of the chosen texture or pattern.

To write a valid style rule, you need:

  • a selector, e.g. body. (you already have body, great work!)
  • a valid property, e.g. background
  • a value for the property, e.g. the address of the image (you have this too, awesome!)

Now you should add a valid property in your curly braces for body.

If you need some additional help, I would google for html background examples.

hi @Ernestjustice

if you read the info :

  • The background property supports the url() function in order to link to an image of the chosen texture or pattern. The link address is wrapped in quotes inside the parentheses.

so the background value is url("... ... ...")
