initial value of margin was "0 auto;"
if margin shorthand contains 2 values then 1st one represents top and bottom margins and the 2nd one - left and right.

Not the OP, but this is the solution i tried and it still wasn’t accepting it as correct.

It’s hard to say without seeing your code.
