It keeps saying my link element should be self-closing, but I believe it already is?

Hello @ryanfan021. You should put a slash / before your > sign to signify that it is a self-closing link, the exercise won’t let you pass if you don’t do so. (Though in some parts of the curriculum, fCC will let you pass if you don’t put a slash / at the end of self-closing tags).
