Iterate Through the Keys of an Object with a for...in Statement*

Tell us what’s happening:

Help please, I can’t figureout why my code is not working, thank you.

Your code so far

let users = {
  Alan: {
    age: 27,
    online: false
  },
  Jeff: {
    age: 32,
    online: true
  },
  Sarah: {
    age: 48,
    online: false
  },
  Ryan: {
    age: 19,
    online: true
  }
};

function countOnline(obj) {
  // change code below this line
  let i = 0;
  for (let user in obj) {
    if (user.online === true) {
      i++;
    }
  }
  return i;
  // change code above this line
}

console.log(countOnline(users));

 if (obj[user].online === true) {
      i++;
    }

this is how you iterate though an object if its a variable

Thank you, I followed the syntax on the example in the challenge, I’ll try this one.
