var collection = {

are you using all the function parameters?

yes

all use all the function

and where do you use the first one?

function updateRecords(object, id, prop, value) {
  if (prop === "tracks" && (!(collection[id]).tracks)) {
    collection[id].tracks = [];
  }
  if (prop === "tracks" && value !== "") {
    collection[id].tracks.push(value);
  } else if (prop !== "tracks" && value !== "") {
    collection[id][prop] = value;
  } else if (value === "") {
    delete collection[id][prop];
  }
return collection;
}

Yep, the logic is ok, but you are not using the first argument. If you were referencing some old solutions, be aware that the function signature changed for this challenge.
