trying to nest one legend element and one ul element inside the fieldset with two options but its not working

Just a small typing error in both of your legend closing tags. They are missing the / to close them.

I would like to say that I have never missed adding my closing /slash; but that would not be truthful.

I think everybody has done it sometimes.
