The exercise said:
set the font color to a color
Which property sets the font colour?
If not sure, restart the step, and click on the check button and check the hint.
I totally understand the confusion here, the instructions on contrast-ratio aren’t exactly clear in this lesson set. The syntax dictates that you set the color and then set the background color using hexadecimal form(see example below)
As to the ratio if your having trouble I would suggest
