Please guide me through on coding the step 8 which goes thus:
Scale the image using its id as a selector, and setting the width to be the maximum of 100px or 18vw.

You should use the id attribute of the img tag. But instead, you have used .logo img selector.

This isn’t correct. Instructions says:

Scale the image using its id as a selector, and setting the width to be the maximum of 100px or 18vw .

The id of the IMG element is LOGO which I have used as the selector.
I don’t get the way out

You used .logo this means an html element with the class of logo.

You can use #logo to select an html element with the id of logo.

I don’t understand your second statement

The insturction says Scale the image using its id.

For example we have a div element and its id is container:

<div id="container"></div>

We can select it using its id as the below:

#container {
  color: "red";
}
