Learn Bash by Building a Boilerplate bug

“Learn Bash by Building a Boilerplate” has been buggy for more than a week for me.
First it wouldn’t load, then it would take forever to load, then the site kept throwing errors at me no matter what I did, then it deleted all my progress.

Now, it won’t accept any of my answers, just throwing “Test should pass” no matter what I put in, until I just tried doing nothing and hitting ctrl+Enter

It also accepts “cd ~/project/freeCodeCamp”, for some reason.

I’ve already done the entire project once before it was deleted, so it’s not really an issue for me. I’m just posting this here in case anyone else runs in to the same problem.

Where was it deleted from?

from the server, I assume? I completed the project, went back in last week and noticed it wasn’t marked as complete, and all my work is gone.

Also update: my previous workaround stopped working, and now I have to do the virtual reset with every single step before it will allow my answer, which is frustrating but manageable.

Let’s take it carefully from the beginning.
What you have to do first when you start this chapter ( Relational Database ) there are 3 important steps:

  1. Create a GitHub account.
  2. Create a CodeALLY profile.
  3. Allow third-party cookies on your browser.
Have you already followed these steps?

I followed all of these steps, and did the entire boilerplate project.
It was saving my information and letting me resume where I left off.

I’ve completed the project once again, so it’s no longer an issue regardless.

Thank you anyway though
