Challenge: Learn Basic CSS by Building a Cafe Menu - Step 11

Link to the challenge:

what number task are you on? having a bit more detail about what you’re trying to achieve along with the details of the task will help others to understand the issue.

edit: I’ve just seen you’re on step 11. you just need to use the element that you wish to style. I.e. h1 in this case.

Mod edit: removed

Hello and welcome to the community!
CSS syntax is not the same as HTML.

You want to use this example:

element {
 property: value;
}

And replace ‘element’ with the name of the element you want to style not its contents which is ‘h1’ in this case.
text-align should be your property followed by a colon and and then the value of “center”.

It is great that you solved the challenge, but instead of posting your full working solution, it is best to stay focused on answering the original poster’s question(s) and help guide them with hints and suggestions to solve their own issues with the challenge.

We are trying to cut back on the number of spoiler solutions found on the forum and instead focus on helping other campers with their questions and definitely not posting full working solutions.
