Learn Basic CSS by Building a Cafe Menu - Step 11

You can write CSS code directly in an HTML document by putting it inside the style element.

The syntax for a CSS rule is given in the challenge instructions:

element {
 property: value;
}

You have a selector (element above), which targets the required element(s). The CSS rules, which are inside the pair of curly braces, will be applied to the selected element(s). They take the form of property/value pairs, and you can have as many as you need inside each ruleset.

In this case your selector is h1 and you have one CSS rule with the property text-align and value center. Replace the corresponding words in the above code with these values and you should find that the text content of your h1 element will be centered on the screen.
