Tell us what’s happening:
Getting an error that I need to have a self-closing link element and I think I have the code right but not matter what I do I can’t seem to get past this.

I’m sure this line is correct.
Try to reset the step and write it once more.

same result unfortunately. reset the page, reset the step many times. all to no avail

It may be issue with your browser and/or browser extensions. I am not the one who can deal with this kind of stuff.
You can wait for advice from somebody else.
Also you can try move further through the curriculum and return to this step later. Though it’s possible that you will have have similar issues in the other steps also.
