Learning to describe problems is hard, but it is an important part of learning how to code.
Also, the more you say, the more we can help!

The key instruction is this:

changes … for the body element.

You must create a body selector by its own.

Hello.
You are not supposed to group your body selector. Reset your code. Then after your h1, h2, p add another selector called body with the property of background-color with the value set to brown

isn’t this the body selector?

Yes and you should add { } which will contain your styling.

Yes, but the change is supposed to happen only for the body. When you place it together with the other selectors, everything gets the settings.
